We had some casting anglers for the day here at lureguides.com.
Husband and wife Tom and Amie arrived here in Enniskillen to brush up their lure fishing skills.
Arriving mid day due to work commitments it was going to be a make or break session on this short session.
After carefully choosing a nice spot some perch were quickly boated by Amie on the drop shot. This can be highly addictive fishing especially when the perch are really active and also a good chance of a big pike on light gear.
After a hour of not landing any pike Tom tailed walked a nice double into the net followed by another a few minutes later on bigbait rod jerkbait tactics making their short time with us well spent and already guaranteed to go home happy faced.
As the day progressed various lures and techniques were tried and tested. It was great to see another angler going home with knowledge under their belt after a guided tuition trip with Steve from lureguides.
