Denis Goulding reports with results from the 2nd leg of the AWOL fished last Sunday….
The 5th November, was the second round of the AWOL League held at Laois Angling Centre sponsored by Mary Harkin of Rorys Fishing Tackle .
Twenty anglers took part and caught a total of 83 fish. The fishing was tough and some pegs fished better than others.

Today I was lucky enough to draw some nice pegs and caught 13 fish for my day, which took first place. Robert Flaherty was second with 9 fish and Shane Bird was third with 8 fish. Well done to you both and to everyone that took part.
Many thanks to everyone that came today, it was great to see everyone and i look forward to our next heat on the 10th of December at Adaire Springs.

Spring/Summer: March-Oct inclusive, open 7 days a week from 9am until dusk.
Winter: Nov-Feb inclusive, open weekends only and week days by appointment only.
