There were 11 Salmon off Currane last week. Best 9lb, and a small number of sea trout.
There were also salmon caught in the Kenmare area as they finally start to arrive in the rivers.
After the welcome rise in water levels following last week’s rain the rivers are heading back down towards low again
Sea Trout β Catch and release only
Inland Fisheries Ireland wishes to remind anglers that the Conservation of Sea Trout (No.7 or Kerry District) Waterville Area Bye-Law No. 971 of 2019 remains in effect. The Bye-Law mainly affects seatrout fishing on :-
