The Portumna Coarse Angling Club held a club match at the ‘Town & Stic ups’ stretch on Sunday, and the fishing was pretty impressive all round. But it was very impressive for Morgan Lewis, who bagged 63lb+ to take the win at a canter, with the nearest competitor, Sean Brereton, coming in at 39lb+, with Bruce Pennel placing third with 30lb+. All bodes well for the festival down there the week after next.
