After a long, wet winter and pretty windy spring, it’s time enough to be back on the water, and skipper John Fleming was back in action this week in Galway Bay.

A nice, calm day greeted his crew, with plenty of sunshine keeping spirits high. Whie the fishing wasn’t hectic, they had some nice pollack, wrasse and a few early mackerel – always a good sign! With the longer days and (hopefully) more sunshine, water temperatures should rise quickly now and improve the sport. We look forward to plenty more reports from John this season.
