Kevin Lyons from Melview Lodge reports that Andre and Johan from Holland were over for their annual Pike fishing holiday and once again stayed with Kevin and Jane at Melview Lodge in Longford.
Kevin said the weather at the time was not very kind to them but they managed a few good Pike and even had time for a round of golf. See you next year guys.
Eddy and friend Ivan from Belgium who come over every year managed to catch some nice Pike using Lures and dead baits, some days were harder than others with the Pike not starting to feed until later in the day due to the bright sun light and very still . There was also a bonus fish for Eddy in the way of a nice Trout taken on the lure while fishing for Pike, see you next year guys.
All fish released unharmed to fight another day.
