Ullcatch in Tralee report on a local fishing competition last weekend. They tell us ‘Flounder do like to frequent estuary’s, and usually bigger flounder too with a specimen always a possibility, but none showed up this day…the biggest landed on the day was 44cm and many more up around that size.’
Earlier in the week Troy Francis landed a specimen Ballan Wrasse while fishing in a secret location in South Kerry. Troys fish weighed 4lb 12oz and measured 50cm.
