    This 100 acre crystal clear spring fed lake is situated in beautiful natural surroundings and both the lake and surroundings are recognised as a special area of conservation under the European Habitats Directive.

    The lake is stocked regularly with quality fighting fit triploid rainbow trout from the Fisheries Board Hatchery in Roscrea.  The average fish size is 3-4 lbs. With some fish reaching 7-8 lbs.

    Annagh is exclusively fly fishing and can only be fished by boat (electric engine).  So whether you are an expert or a beginner this is the perfect location for a great day’s fishing.
    There is a car park on the lake shore together with an angler’s shelter and there are 8 boats available to hire.  The lake is conveniently located 90 minutes from Dublin and Belfast.

    Season: All year

    Rates: €20  Individual or €30 for two persons is  Half day rate.

    • Half day  is from 10am to 4pm
      Half day is from  4.30pm to Dusk same rate.
    • Winter time. Above rates apply for a full day.
      Winter time commences 1st November
