Photo: Noel caught this 13lb lLough Lene pike on a Bass Harasser
After a few cold hours trolling some lost fish and ripped up lures, the heavens opened it lashed down and a mist covered the lake we were really tested by the conditions but we persevered and produce a few nice fish. At about four pm Noel decided it was time for the magical bass harasser to come out and within minutes he was on to a 13lb pike that put up a super fight before we finally got the net in the water and boated it. After a few quick snaps we released it and started back on the troll.

Five minutes went by and Noel had just said to get the tea out when I felt something take the lure and with a few thumps on the rod I and knew I was on and this one wasn’t going to get away. After an energetic few jumps we boated the small pike and it turned out to be 6 lb another few snaps and it was released and sent home. These fish saved the day for us, Thanks for recommending Lene, needless to say we’ll going back for more and hopefully next time we’ll get the one that got away.
