Peadar O’Brien fished recently in the Cavan area and reports that he had a good day fising. The weather was mild and the fish seemed to be active on the day. His biggest pike of the day was one of of 13lb but he reported that he lost another heavier fish. Peadar attributes his action packed day to a selection of new lures which he purchased recently from Colm Lynch of East coast angling in Navan.
