Young anglers coming on line for Pike fishing

Michael Flanagan tells us that on the pike scene Angler’s World, Navan and Mullingar gave Alex Nickelson Top Rod. Alex drifted into Rochfortbridge some years back from Scotland, and took the pike scene by storm producing some cracking double figure pike. On the Game Angling scene they picked young James Mahedy, who regularly ventures out with dad Ollie. Its great to see the younger Anglers coming on line, and hopefully more will take up fishing in 2013

GLORE ANGLERS. This Saturday December 15^th Lough Glore Anglers will hold their Christmas Pike competition. Its an early start with fishing from 9-30am, and boats in at 2-30pm.More on this competition please contact Club Chairman Eddie O, Donnell on 089-4126507.Michael tells us its quite a while since he spent a few hours on Glore, and all going well some nice pike will come on line.
