On April 9th Ken Stewart (Dublin) caught the first grilse of 2012 on fly on the Hut Pool on Upper Kilmurry. It’s probably the earliest ever grilse recorded on the fishery.
While on April 5th Joe Tynan had his first ever salmon weighing 8.4lb. Taken on spinner on the Island Stream on Lower Kilmurry.
