Over the weekend with the tides getting bigger bass fishing in Cork Harbour went up a few gears. It started in great style  on Friday morning for Pat O’Shea of the Commodore Hotel when he amassed an incredible 18bass. Over the weekned there were plenty of updates from anglers who were getting some pretty good fishing. Word and had got out and with the warm sunny evening on Sunday nearly 30 small boats were fishing in the Harbour, many of them trying for bass. Little known to many of these hopeful anglers Pat O’Shea of the Commodore had had a huge 11lb bass that morning!
