Ivan O Kelly reports on his latest charter fishing trip fishing with Alan Kennedy aboard the Lagosta 11 fishing out from Cork Harbour from the base at East Ferry
We were out with Alan on the Lagosta 11 out of East Ferry again last Friday. We had plenty of mackerel and whiting, a couple of nice cod and ling. There was an abundance of congers from a wreck we fished when the tide started to fill.
The biggest conger was a whopper as you can see, she was over 7 ft measured 18 inches in the girth and tipped the scales at around 43 lb.
