Fishing writer, photographer, TV presenter and consultant – Henry Gilbey has a lot of strings to his bow.  He has been coming to Ireland for years now and tells us that THIS is the place to be for great Shore fishing.  As he says ” The most simple fact is that when it comes to certain species of fish they have got more and bigger!!”

He goes on to to tell us that the stunning coastline is really coming alive with the fishing getting better and better.  This combined with the expert local knowledge given by guides makes it a fisherman’s paradise. See link ‘Coastline really coming to life’

Echoing Henry’s view is the Rookie Bass Angler, Steven Neely who writes that improving conditions and good tides make the Copper Coast great.  Mackerel were being pushed to the surface by feeding Bass. Steven went on to catch a wonderful 7lb 3oz Bass pictured below.
