Henry Gilbey ponders over the question….does the colour of the lures matter?
Fishing for wrasse yesterday with soft lures, he tries Black at first….almost immediately he has a few small bites. But moving up the coast line to a better fishing ground he found the wrasse uninterested !! So he changed to a khaki coloured lure and hey presto…catches wrasse again.
