Angling Guide and journalist Mick Flanagan reports:
Recently Séan Scanlon the Quiet Man of the I.F.I. here in Westmeath retired. Sean from Irishtown worked for the past thirty-three years on our Midlands lakes, and also was the man behind the wheel delivering fish to many Angling clubs across Ireland. Sean was joined by many of his fellow I.F.I. officers, and family members for a huge retirement party night in Kerrigan’s Lounge, Harbour Street. I reckon a few pics might appear in the Out & About pages in Westmeath Topic quite soon. On behalf of Angling Focus we wish Séan all the best on his retirement.
