Kildare County Council are currently formulating an Outdoor Recreation Plan for the county. The overall aim of the plan is to increase participation in outdoor activities, and they are seeking input from any interested parties. So if you are an angler, angling club or other stakeholder, they are interested in hearing from you to learn about the role angling plays in getting people outdoors. They are running some information meetings & workshops later this month:
Monday 23rd June 7pm- 9pm in the Corrib Centre at Glenroyal Hotel in Maynooth, Co Kildare
Tuesday 24th June 7pm- 9pm in the Keadeen Hotel in Newbridge, Co Kildare
While attendance is free, booking is essential and the events cannot be accessed without a ticket.
