Sunday almost resembled spring in West Cork and Sydney Kennedy (Lee Angling) made the most of the break in the weather to go fishing. Shreelane Lakes in Skibbereen, Co Cork were the chosen venue. While trolling a Red/White 120 Duo Tide minnow Sydney struck into a fine fish that turned out to be a 22lb pike.

Sydney and Ross Macklin have recently launched a new guided angling service in Munster, in fact Ross caught a pike of about 25lb from the same venue last week on the fly.
