Lene Pike Competition on Saturday October 19th

LENE PIKE COMPETITION. On Saturday October 19^th Lough Lene anglers will hold their annual pike competition. It will be fished from 11am-5pm and check –in at Fagan’s Point. Lene is open all season for pike and perch fishing and is a super winter fishery. I hope to spend a few days on Lene after the trout season, and all going well we will have a few Winter visitors to the Midlands.  I reckon we don’t push our winter fishing enough here in the Midlands, and could have a lot more anglers dropping into Mullingar in the coming months.
