Had a bit of fun fishing shallow waters on Lough Derravarragh and the River Inny on Monday June 17th. I hooked – up with younger brother J.J. and we boated many pike, but noting over 6lbs. Still the fish were in mint condition and really hit our lures hard in shallow water.
I did hit a good fish on the surface, but unfortunately it fired the bait back at me.
