All things quiet and calm on Lough Melvin

Lindsey Clarke reports from LOUGH MELVIN – Monday 18^th to Sunday 24^th February 2013.

The weather was more conducive to fishing this week with drier more settled conditions. Air temperatures were low however all week with daytime temperatures rarely exceeding 4°C. A number of boats ventured out but overall the lough was quiet and I have yet to hear of any salmon being caught.
