26/04/13: First in the striking zone in the Salmon department, was Mr. Michael Shultz, who caught a fine 7 ¾ lbs. Salmon on the troll, while fishing with his Gillie Mr. Neil O’Shea and of www.oshealoughcurrane.com now to the fly department, Mr. Tommy Duggan of Kilkenny, caught a fine 10 lbs. 27/04/13: Lough Currane recorded another first in the fly department when Mr. Anulal Hitmiang or as we call him Tam, caught his first ever 11 lbs. Salmon on the fly, while fishing with his Father-in-law and renowned Gillie Mr. Vincent O’Sullivan and of www.vincentsfishing.com Wind N light with bright sunshine all day.

28/04/13: Mr. Enrico Fantasia of Italy, was the King of the Salmon department, when he caught a fine 8.5 lbs Salmon on the north side of  Darby’s Island while fishing with his Gillie Mr. Neil O’Shea and of www.oshealoughcurrane.com Wind N fresh and cold with the odd shower.

29/04/13: It was a quiet day on Lough Currane in the Salmon and Sea Trout Department, so we will head for the Brown Trout department, Mr. Fergus Keane, of Australia, caught a fine 2 lbs. Brown Trout on the fly, while fishing with his Gillie Mr. Neil O’Shea and of www.oshealoughcurrane.com Wind N light with reasonable cloud cover.

30/04/13: All quiet on the SW front.
