The world famous River Moy has yielded its first salmon of the 2013 season. The fish, caught by Donegal native Brendan McMenamin, weighed 5lbs and was caught using a worm on the Ballina Salmon Anglers’ water in Ballina Town. The salmon was caught on Sunday the 24th of February.
