No problem with Bass in the Wexford  area as Guide Sean Jordan reports:

This week we targeted bass on some tidal rips on early morning tides with “needlefish” lures, further out a lot of terns and gannets were also working the mark for sandeel, as the tide started to reach its peak the bass duly arrived, along with this acrobatic pollack who leaped clear of the water on taking the lure!!

Lively pollack

Mid-day sessions also yielded bass on estuary marks a couple of hours each side of low tide after applying some sun cream to our lures we had some sport with a few, we also noticed big numbers of bait fish present, estuaries are always great food larders for bass in settled weather.
