Ken O’Neill from IFI in Limerick reports that the lakes in Co. Clare are fishing well enough for pike.  Anglers are pro-actively changing their lures to test the various shapes, sizes and colours to find what does tempt that pike.

Young Christina Barry, (age 9) was enjoying a day’s fishing the Fergus River near Ruan, Co Clare last Wednesday (24th June) with her Dad.  Christina caught this amazing 9.5lb Pike – Well Done Christina!!!
Damien Culliney fished Atedaun Lake last Friday the 26th June where jacks made up the catches. His best pike weighed 7.5lb.
At Lough Graney The Cahill Challenge Cup  that was held on Sunday the 31st June.  The competition was won by Ger Tuohy of Ballinakill with a 5 lb Pike .  Ger is the secretary of the Lough Graney Angling Club also.  The team competition was won by the Kilbeacanty Angling Club.

Predator Tour Competition
