Angling guide Peadar O’Brien from Carrickmacross reports that Ian, Ray, Stephen and Glen from the Portadown pikers visited recently to fish with himself and Tom Cogan. The weather was very changeable but we had pike to 20lb. The lads had loads of fish and recorded fish of 10lbs and 13lb on lures. Peadar says that “we lost some more big pike they were coming up and hitting the lures but they would just not hold on, we really lost a lot more fish but we also boated a good number as well.
