Frank Maunsell reports on the conditions and prospects on the Owenmore Fishery in Co. Kerry…

09 June: We didn’t get all the rain that we expected but the river rose about six inches. Plenty of seatrout running and the heavy showers will keep the river topped up all week. We had five trout up to 3 lbs on Saturday on the White lake and we had two on the other lake on Sunday even though conditions were tough with the westerly gales.
