On the River Lee there were 15 salmon landed for week ending 25 May. The fish averaged 8lbs each, mostly landed by local anglers using all methods.

Paul Hanley had to use stealth to catch his salmon on the ESB fishery on Monday. The beats were seeing a lot of pressure from anglers and despite the number of coloured fish throwing he managed to spot a fine fresh fish. On his thrid cast the fish took his size 15 Ally’s Shrimp and led him a merry dance before he could hand and the then safely release the salmon.
