Lindsey Clarke reports  from LOUGH MELVIN – Monday 5thth   to Sunday 11th  May 2014:

Lough Melvin remained low all week. There is little to report on the salmon front and it seems angling effort for the same was very light. We have heard of no salmon caught to date. The trout fishing was far more encouraging with a number of rods reporting fair to good sonaghan fishing on wet flies. The best areas were Kinlough Bay and around Bilberry Island.
