There were plenty of fish to be caught at the South Shore Christmas Competition fished on Arklow Beach last weekend.
On what proved to be a lovely December day the species caught were winter regulars such as whiting, dabs, rocking and dogfish.
Well done to John Birmingham who took 1st place with 49 fish. Congratulations also go to Daragh Birmingham, who took first in the Junior section, with a whopping tally of 32 fish.
Great days fishing, lovely weather and tasty dinner at the presentation.
