Carrowmore Lake
Anglers on Carrowmore Lake enjoyed another very good week of spring salmon fishing. A total of 13 salmon (2 released) were caught for the week averaging 8 lbs. Amongst the successful anglers were Martin Reuland, Belmullet, Vincent Rigney, Westport, John O’Connor, Navan and John McBride from Northern Ireland. Successful flies included Thunder & Lightning, Green Peter, various Shrimp patterns as well as ½ inch tube flies.
