Dalton Park angler P.J. Gray won the Lough Glore Anglers club pike competition last Sunday July 19th. This all method pike competition was well supported and quite a few pike were caught with P.J. winning with a pike of 6lbs 6oz. The Collinstown brothers Kevin and Pat Daly took 2nd and 3rd spot with Kevin landing a pike 4lbs 14oz, and Pat netted a pike of 3lbs. Mullingar anglers Fred, Joe, and Bernie Murray also boated pike as did Castlepollard angler Pat Finglus.Lough Glore Chairman Eddie O, Donnell who they reckon will be the first Westmeath Master Chef never wet a line as he was two busy cooking for the 4pm finish. Eddie always has a great spread of food ready at the 4pm finish and presentation, and the club facilities, and grounds is a credit to all Glore officers, and committee .
