04 June: Regular angler Niel Spellacy hit the top of the leaderboard with three fish for his evening’s fishing.
One from the Lunch Pool, 4.5lb on the Lower River and two from Tullywee Bridge Pool 5lb and 9lb with the latter being a stray hatchery fish from a nearby fishery.
Still good water and more rain promised for tomorrow, we should be good for the weekend

Kylemore Abbey Fishery consists of the Kylemore Middle and Castle lakes, with five and a half miles of the Dawros river which enters the sea in Ballynakill bay. The open panoramas of the lakes contrast with the intimacy of the river to give a variety of fishing combined with stunning scenery unrivalled anywhere in Ireland.
