Brian Hennessey from Waterford had an absolute red letter day last Monday. Brian was fishing the Slaney with friends and was fishing down the pools after them. Using a fast sinking line and a 1.5 inch Posh Tosh conehead, which he stayed loyal to for the day, he accounted for 3 fine spring salmon, all of which were in double figures.

Not one for resting on his laurels, a 2nd fish heading for 20 lb. was landed!

His first salmon of the day was a lovely 11lb fish. The followed this with not one, but 2olb springers.
