Eileen Carroll, IFI Macroom, tells us 6 grilse were reported for the week, mostly caught on fly by club anglers.

RIVER LEE ESB FISHERY

It has been reported that a Limerick man had a salmon of 10lbs on a shrimp last Saturday. On the fishery ealier this week was Paul Hanley who had a good fish of about 12lb on fly. This hard fighting, well conditioned 12lb hen was safely returned to continue her journey to the spawning grounds.
