Carrick-on-Suir & District Angling club is going well with some fine fishing waters on the Suir. Proof of the pudding is in the catch and Tommy O’Keeffe shows the way as he catches and releases a cracking 17lb sea-liced salmon which he caught on the fly on club waters. Not only that but his 14year old son James also struck gold with a fine 14lb fish too.
Jimmy Walsh of the Carrick on Suir club tells us the club are going from strength to strength and promote catch and release always.
Below is some footage of Guide Jason O’Riordan who fished there recently releasing a salmon.
