Angling guide and Fishery manager Shane Gallagher might not have the salmon yet but he has some stunning photography of the River Drowes, he reports:

Two weeks in to the new season and the first salmon of 2015 is still proving elusive. Another fish was lost on spinner from the Mill Pool on Friday. Conditions have taken a turn for the worse with snow yesterday, rising water, now back up to 0.95 metres and a severe weather warning in place for later today. Local road conditions are dangerous in places.Cold conditions are forecast to return over the weekend, with further falls of snow.
