This week brought lovely weather with the days dry and sunny. Spring is definitely here and in fact it felt more like summer evidenced by the arrival of Swallows and Willow Warblers this week. Cuckoo’s next! J The very sunny weather did not suit angling on the Drowes but every non anglers was delighted! The Drowes had lovely water levels this week. The Gauge read 0.69m on Monday and the river gradually dropped over the week to read 0.61m on Sunday. Despite the very bright conditions, the river produced fish on every day except Thursday.
