Frank Maunsell from the Owenmore Fishery reports that they had a big flood over the weekend and a few fish at the start of this week…

13 May: Over the week end in one day alone we had two inches of rain and gale force winds. The flood ran of fairly quickly and between Monday and Tuesday we had 8 good trout and a few juniors. The water is perfect for fishing at the moment and there is a heavy band of rain coming in this evening which should keep it topped up for a few days. Air temperatures are also rising which looks good for the coming week.
