Water levels have not been kind to the Moy’s anglers and the heavy weather that whipped the west coast of Ireland have added to their woes. With only about 100 salmon reported by the fisheries on the river this goes down as another poor return for this time of the season. Angling effort is low partly due to the conditions and in part due to the poor reports coming from the anglers. There were no fish from the Moy Fishery beats last week. The best of what fishing there was came from the Foxford area, though most fisheries only managed a handful of salmon if that. Only the Foxford Salmon Anglers at Rinanney saw a catch in the teens.
