Frank Maunsell from the Owenmore Fishery reports:

16 May: Even though the weather was fine and the water was low there were seatrout travelling up the river. The tide yesterday evening filled up the bottom pools with fresh fish and they will run up the river when we get the rain that is forecast in the middle of the week. The wind is southwest which suits the system so the fishing should be good from Thursday onwards. There is a moon there at the moment which does not suit the night fishing.
