Billy Downes of the Laune Salmon and Trout Anglers’ Association reports:

As of Monday 26th September the Laune is gone up to 1.8m over the weekend. This is the last thing we needed. Only one fish reported for the week and certainly no sign of fresh fish. Tom Curtyane’s salmon was a nice fish of 10 lbs spinning and Patrick Richard and Bernard Lyot also spinning had some good sea trout to 3lbs before the water rose. The other 157 members blanked.

Nothing to add.

Prospects: Poor in ideal conditions and high water levels to contend with for remaining five days.

Laune Salmon and Trout Anglers’ Association
