First Springer has been caught on Blackwater Salmon Fishery water yesterday on the Munster Blackwater.
Congratulations to Ian Powell who has caught and released the 1st springer of the season on Blackwater Salmon Fishery beats. The fish was caught on Lower Kilmurry at the Jole on spinner. The water is coming into great order. Time to get the rods out.

The fishing is spread throughout the middle section of the river to offer good sport throughout the fishing season. Due to the location of the beats, fishing can still usually be offered in low or high water.
