Lindsey Clarke reports from OWENEA FISHERY – Monday 12th to Sunday 18th Sept 2016.
There were some lovely water levels on Monday (0.40m) and Tuesday (0.24m) but the river ran at lower levels over the rest of the week. The gauge average for the week read 0.21 metres. The fishery was not particularly busy as is usual coming near to the end of the season and only 11 visiting rods were fished over the week. To date we have no records of catches.
