Frank Maunsell from the Owenmore Fishery reports:
16 June: The water levels are still perfect for fishing at the moment and hopefully we will get more rain before the week end. We have had some terrific fishing over the last few days. We had a grisle of 7 lbs yesterday and even though it was in the river a while it put up a terrific fight before it was released. We had a lot of juniors running but we also has trout up to 3 lbs weight, bars of silver with sea lice on them. We had a few small trout caught that had a worrying amount of sealice on them. One little trout had nearly 30 around the gills alone. If anybody else has noticed this they might contact me.
