The first salmon of the 2016 season was caught on the River Moy Tuesday 15th March) by experienced local angler, Noel Maloney. The spring salmon which weighed in at 12 lbs. was captured in the Ballina Salmon Anglers’ water and was taken on the worm. Congratulations to Noel on his success.
