The first salmon of the 2016 season was caught on Lough Gill on Sunday 13th March. The lucky angler was Kenneth Conway from Sligo who was trolling a copper Devon Minnow.
Ricky Fabozzi, Sligo, enjoyed a good start of the new season on Glencar Lake where he caught & released two fine sea trout weighing 2.5 lbs. and 3 lbs. respectively. Ricky was spinning with blue and silver toby from the shore.
