The River Bonet produced a number of fine spring salmon over the past few weeks. One of the most productive spots was Alan’s Pool near Dromahair.
Amongst the successful anglers were Dromahair anglers Sean McGoldrick with two fish weighing 9.5 lbs and 10.5 lbs., Jason Cunningham with two fish at 8 lbs. and 7.5 lbs., Michael McGowan with an 8.5 lbs and Stephen Feehily who landed a seven pounder. All fish were caught spinning.
