Kit Dunne is getting some great smoothhound fishing at the moment. His last 6 trips have all seen fish over specimen size caught.
On Tuesday there were 11 Irish Specimen Hounds landed, including a 16lb beauty for Brian Cooke. The following day, 15 June, a group of 6 anglers had 12 specimen smoothhounds to 11.7lb. Other species recorded included gurnard, LSD, bullhuss and tope – one of which was a PB for lucky angler Paul O’Reilly.
